Otra semana y otro video de cardmaking utilizando uno de mis troqueles preferidos de Simon Says Stamp!
Este troquel curvado que se llama Graphic Twist me da la impresión de insertar en la tarjeta un look totalmente retro. ¿A ti no te parece igual?
Y me pareció ideal combinarlo glitter o brillantina bien finita adherida con una de mis técnicas preferidas para combinar con glitter y troqueles! La de la cinta adhesiva doble faz.
Como se ve en el video paso a paso, primero troquelo, luego coloco la cinta doble faz sobre el troquel de manera de dejar expuesto el pegamento a través del troquel. Y así logro que el gliter se adherida con la forma del troquel y no se suelte.
Para mantener cada color en su lugar, utilizo el mismo excedente del troquel para enmascarar el pegamento con cada color que voy agregando. Es difícil explicarlo en palabras, por eso los videos siempre me resultan la forma más fácil de expresarles cómo hacerlo.
Como siempre, confío en mi Big Shot de Sizzix para un troquelado perfecto y nunca me falla!

Another week and another cardmaking video using one of my favorite die-cuts from Simon Says Stamp!
This curved die-cut is called Graphic Twist and I think it gives the card a totally retro look. Don’t you think so?
I found it was perfect to combine with very fine glitter applied using one of my favourite techniques for mixing glitter and die-cuts! double-sided adhesive tape.
As you can see in the step-by-step video, first I die-cut, then I place the double-sided tape over the die-cut so the adhesive is exposed through it. In this way, I get the glitter to stick following the shape of the die-cut without it falling off.
To keep every color in place, I use the same extra from the die-cut to mask the adhesive with every color I add. It’s a little difficult to explain, that’s why videos always seem like the easiest way to explain to you how it’s done.
As always, I trust my Sizzix Big Shot for perfect looking die-cuts and it never fails!
