I dreamt of these paper rosettes and I thought of decorating a card with them. To give them a little extra glamour, I used some papers that came with the monthly kit from Simon Says Stamps called Congratulations because they were pretty golden, just like in my dream.

I watched some YouTube videos on how to make rosettes and luckily for me, they were not at all difficult. Especially if we own a folding cards board, which makes it much easier to mark all the lines where you’ll fold the paper every ¼ inch, doesn’t it?

The most difficult thing actually Was to keep the rosettes in place, that’s why I used more adhesive than strictly necessary but it was worthy because after spending the night with a huge candle on them they came out just like I wanted. 🙂

The rest was simple. I used a set of stamps from Simon Says Stamps called Big Scripty Greetings and stamped the phase “Thank you” in black, then I created a confetti effect around the phrase and the rosettes in pale pinks and creams using different first and second generation inks.
