Empezamos las tarjetas de Halloween, porque tu ya bien sabes que en Cardmaking, si quieres tener tu tarjeta lista para una fecha en particular, tienes que comenzar a comprar los materiales para hacerlas con bastante tiempo de anticipación!
No se a ti, pero a mi, todos los años me pasa que cuando compro un material nuevo, como suele tardar mucho tiempo que llegue a mis manos, todo me queda para usar el año que viene, y este año, además de que no estoy en mi Craftroom de Buenos Aires, sino que estoy en el de Uruguay, no tengo todos mis materiales conmigo…
Pero igualmente estas situaciones me obligan a exprimir la creatividad porque quizas tengo que usar más de una vez el sello o troquel para hacer distintas tarjetas…
Veamos que tenemos por aquí. Como ya sabes, adoro las tintas Distress Ink. Además de tener unos colores increíbles y ahora venir en formatos mini (ideales para cuando tienes que irte a otro país y seguir filmando videos jajaja), también son súper versátiles a la hora de implementar técnicas con ellas.
En este caso vamos a utilizar un aplicador de goma espuma para aplicar distintos colores de tinta sobre un papel blanco y lograr un atardecer muy pero muy embrujado!
Luego troquelamos la casa embrujada, pero no la usamos en sí misma, sino que la usamos como stencil para seguir aplicando tinta sin parar!!

We are getting started with our Halloween cards, because as you know in Cardmaking if you’d like to have your card ready for a special date, you have to start buying the necessary materials well in advance!
I don’t know about you, but every year, when I buy something new, it takes so long for it to get here that I end up having stuff for the following year, and this year, on top of not being in my Buenos Aires Craftroom, but in the Uruguay one, I don’t have everything at hand…
But these situations force me to be more creative because I might have to use the same stamp or seal more than once to make cards…
Let’s see what we have here. As you know, I love Distress inks. Besides having amazing colors and coming in small sizes (ideal when you need to go to another country and still continue making videos, ha!) they are also super versatile when implementing different techniques with them.
In this case we are going to use a foam applicator to apply different ink colors onto white paper and get a really spooky sunset!
Then we’ll die-cut the haunted house, but we won’t use the house itself; we’ll use it as a stencil to continue applying ink nonstop!!
